Royal Health Care Institute is a state-approved healthcare frontline training school created in 2019 to meet the growing need of Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aides in Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Clinics, Group Homes, Assisted Living Centers, etc. With more than 20 years of experience in the Health Care and Health Care Training, we provide instruction, a simulation Lab, and hands-on experience in the classroom, or lab, and clinical setting on the basic nursing assistant skills required to work in a variety of health care settings.

Royal Health Care Institute serves a diverse population within the New England communities. All students who meet admission guidelines will be admitted into the program of their choice without regard to color, creed, or socioeconomic status. We are approved by the Department of Public Health (DPH) and practice as a Private Occupational School licensed by the Division of Occupational Licensure, Office of Private Occupational Schools (DOL). The content of our courses is based on the Home Care Curriculum (HCC) and the Health-Related Tasks Curriculum (HRTC).

 

Mission and Philosophy

The mission and philosophy of this institution addresses the student/learner, the faculty, and the healthcare consumer.

Learner: The learner is expected to be responsible as an active participant in the learning process. Learner responsibilities include demonstrate professional conduct, communicate effectively, and acquire skills necessary for a nursing assistant to provide holistic care and be a qualified member of the healthcare team. The learner’s experiences will be a step toward continual growth and development of the total person and will stimulate a desire and need for individual lifelong learning.

Faculty: The Nurse Assistant Training Program instructors are nurses with additional training and certification to address the unique learning needs of nursing assistant students. The faculty is committed to applying the school’s core values of HONESTY, INTEGRITY, RESPECT, and RESPONSIBILITY in preparing learners to obtain a high-quality education for a diverse workforce. The CNA instructors facilitate a meaningful learning experience for the motivated student in a suitable learning environment.

Healthcare Consumer: The healthcare consumer can expect that the Student Nursing Assistant learner will work within the nurse assistant scope of practice to meet care needs, promote comfort and facilitate independence with strict regard for safety, medical asepsis, and patient/resident rights. The healthcare consumer can expect to be treated with dignity and respect regardless of race, gender, color, creed, disease, or disability.
